What a relief to find an elegant and sophisticated venue. Its a 17th-century historic house just a few blocks away from the Seine, in the heart of the 14th district of Saint Germain des Près. Run by Jacques Cagna, Annie Logereau-Cagna and Stéphane Logereau-Cagna. We went here to celebrate my cousin‘s birthday. It's a little on the pricey but once you taste the food you kind of forget that. Service is an exceptional blend of friendliness and efficiency. Even the busiest dishes are cleverly balanced and comprise excellent, base on top quality ingredients. The veal in salt crust sweetbreads with rosemary, sliced potatoes, quick-sautéed spinach, and the sauce was light and the meat was tender. It was recommended to us by the owner’s son who manages the restaurant very well. The atmosphere provides an oasis of calm inside it’s a second floor cozy dining room, where wood beams, burnished paneling, expose ceiling, beautiful paintings and candle lights table setting. The restaurant maintain for almost 20 years, and become well known for its exceptional French classic style cuisine that is high quality and tasty. It might sounds an old fashion style but my cousin and the rest of us We're very satisfied, it was the most memorable dining experience we ever had.
